Dreamers dream of things to come
and wishers wish for change

There's almost nothing in my life
that I would rearrange

But I can dream and I can wish
some way through fantasy

to cross the barrier of time
there is between you and me

To dream a dream of glory and fame,
and not wish you were there

would be a waste of dream and wish,
so few I have to share

Sparingly I'll use my wishes
and carefully the dreams,

because until you're here with me
they're all I have, it seems.
